Rosemary Tea Bath

Rosemary Tea Bath

This little one had his first cold with a cough so of course I was enthusiastic to remedy every which way I know. I went out back, cut some fresh rosemary, simmered it on the stove for about 15 minutes & added it to this bucket with hot water. I laid him next to the bath while it cooled down some, let the steam rise, then sat him in. I sponged him down with a cloth rag without wetting his head. Finally, I dressed him up warm and he feel asleep. He enjoyed and began to cough up that yucky stuff.

If you don’t have access to fresh rosemary, good quality dried works just fine and can be made in much the same way like a tea on the stove.
